Water world camp August 3rd. The Chillin’ Yogi, Alycia Gargano, has introduced some new classes and class times, including new weekday and Saturday classes and a kids’ yoga class on Saturdays. Yes, the Dogwood Festival is just around the corner on May 5, and Phoenix Karate is getting in on the action.
This year’s theme is Under The Sea, so we’ll be decking the Phoenix Karate Awesome Float out with aquatic appliques, and parading with the town’s best. Of course, we’d love to have the kids ride and cheer in their best Undersea outfits. We’d also love to have volunteers to come down one Saturday before the big day and help us get the float ship-shape. If you can help, give us a call:
Luckily, in walked the Chillin Yogi, Alycia Gargano, who offered to save Neil from himself, and teach a few yoga classes right here at Phoenix Karate.
For the past year she has been teaching “everything from Hatha to kids’ yoga.” “I love to teach people tools to manage their stress, and emotions.” says Alycia. Our regular after-school program is such a hit with kids and parents that we’re expanding it to include Kindergartners.
